Applications are now open for 220 jobs at the new Asda Filton store, which will be located at Abbey Wood Retail Park.
Asda’s first store in Filton opens this November and applicants wishing to express an interest in the jobs should visit www.asda.jobs/hourly.
New store manager, Dave Rolph, said:
“At Asda we recruit for attitude and train for skill. We always believe that our colleagues make the store what it is and I’m looking to recruit hard working colleagues who can deliver great customer service with a smile on their face. Asda is popular within Bristol but many people in Filton have had to drive a long way to shop with us, so I’m proud to be able to open our newest store in this famous community.”
Job positions are available throughout the store, including shop-floor colleagues, bakery and checkout. Details can be found at the above website.
The 30,000 sq ft store will feature a host of exciting ranges such as fresh counters, a George clothing department and customer restaurant.
It will also feature Asda’s Chosen by You food range and customers will be able to use the Asda Price Guarantee (APG). This will allow shoppers the chance to compare the price of their shop with competitor supermarkets and if Asda isn’t 10% cheaper, it will refund the difference.
